October and November 2024: Our church family made no-sew blankets and enjoyed wonderful fellowship as we tied them! We brought one to our shut-ins and donated the remainder to a neighboring family shelter.
October 6, 2024: Our Little Big Praise Choir blessed us with "Peace Like a River".
September 22 and 29, 2024: Our Mission and Outreach Team sponsored a "Fill It Up" project, collecting toiletries and non-perishable items to donate to a local food pantry. Our church family children helped collect and count the items, filling in our goal thermometer.
September 8, 2024: Our "Little Missionaries" received $50 to implement a mission or outreach project to spread God's love to someone in need. Today, they presented their completed projects to our congregation. It was inspiring what they did as the hands and feet of Jesus!

August 24, 2024. We gathered together to spruce up the gardens in the front of our church building.
August 4, 2024. A busy day at FBCS. The Missions and Outreach Team baked cookies with the children to send with bag lunches to Father Bill's in Brockton who distribute meals to the homeless. We then celebrated Rev. Doris's birthday with cake and ice cream, and then proceeded to Haneef's for a pool party. A great day of service, celebration, and fellowship!
July 21, 2024. Church Family Annual Outing to Capron Park. What a great time of fellowship and fun!
July 2024. Our Sunday School children have been studying the Armor of God. Ephesians 6:11-13 says, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil:

June 23, 2024 - Children's Day. What a wonderful day of celebrating the children in our church family. Rev. Doris Barron-Shell provided a message for the children titled "You Are Unique", two of our youth provided a skit called "A Cautionary Tale", Sunday School certificates were distributed to all the children who participated in Sunday School throughout the year, Little Missionary Scholarships were handed out, one of our youth gave a testimony as he meets the challenge of starting college in the fall, our Deacons provided Bibles to our new readers, we had a celebratory cookout, and there were games for children of all ages in our fenced in yard!
June 2, 2024. We traveled to Rhode Island to visit a long-term member and experienced joy as we sang to the residents of the assisted living. We had a wonderful time visiting, singing, and communing with Arline!
Sunday, April 14, 2024, we went "Spring Caroling" to nursing home and assisted living facilities in Sharon as well as some of our elder members. Our "littles" stole the show as they interacted, sang, and provided plenty of hugs! We were blessed by seeing the joy on so many faces as they sang along with us.
